The NFL fears that criticism will reduce the offer of future civil servants

The NFL inflicted a fine on a few Texan players for things said after the defeat of the team’s playoffs against the chiefs. Tuesday, the fines imposed Ball carrier Joe Mixon And The defensive winger Will Anderson Jr. were canceled on appeal.

So why did the league office oscillated and failed in order to silence players whose rights of the first amendment are partly limited by the collective agreement? At least one of the two hearings, a justification was offered.

The NFL, we are told, is concerned about the criticism of NFL current officials, the future potential NFL officials never choose to become official.

This is similar to the consequences of the epiphany of the league brain in 2009. Parents began to remove their children from football at the lower levels. By reducing the total volume of football players, the potential offer of future NFL Retacit players.

And although it is easy to say “there is much more where it comes from”, children who do not play at all could include players who become stars. What if, for example, Patrick Mahomes had opted for baseball?

With those responsible, it’s the same idea. If people who choose otherwise to become secondary officials decide too short to be harassed during the matches, but, taking into account modern, streaks, cooked and / or online technologies, the Basin of Potential NFL officials.

And when NFL officials become gigantic pin cushions for external criticism, all that the league can do is try to reduce all internal criticism.

The league needs people who aspire to eventually become NFL officials. If the work becomes more problems than it is worth it, the only way to make it more attractive becomes to pay them more money. What, of course, the owners do not want to do.

The league therefore hopes to make work more attractive by minimizing the unattractive aspects of it. And so they will try to silence the coaches, the owners, the executives and the players by bringing them.

This is a problem that deserves to be watched. If more and more people choose not to be official in the first place, people who could have done the work fairly well at lower levels to do the work at the highest level never take a single match in the first place.
